An Update on the Girls

Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I had such a wonderful time photographing a wedding in a beautiful area of Maryland yesterday. The drive from my house to the wedding was filled with rolling hills, beautiful homes and estates, vineyards, and the gorgeous fall colors. I will post pictures of the wedding in the next few days! In the meantime, here's an update on our girls.....

The girls are doing great and loving their new home (although they haven't loved the very rainy weather we had the last 4 days). You can actually see a rain drop on Kelsee's nose in the image above that hadn't dried when I took the photo.

If you have ever wondered why our girls are so spoiled, I would like to show you why....look at the puppy dog eyes on these girls! (These pictures were taken in my photography office that is still "in progress".)

Can you imagine what it would be like to lose your ability to express yourself to others? Dogs use their tails to express themselves. Bailey has the most adorable and quick-moving little stub. Kelsee, on the other hand, has this great long tail that is SOOO expressive. When she is happy, that tail is straight up and wagging back and forth. Well, this weekend, we were convinced Kelsee had lost her expresser. We thought she broke her tail. It just hung there, all crooked. No need to send us sympathy cards, however, because as of yesterday afternoon, her tail is coming back to life and she's able to raise it higher and higher as time passes. What happened? We have no idea. Here she is showing you where it hurts....

And lastly, just some sweet photos of sisterly love.

These are our cute cinnamon rolls. (Kelsee is the JUMBO size roll!!)
