Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice

I got to hang out with Little Miss Izzy this weekend. She is the real life version of "sugar and spice and everything nice"!! She is sweet as an ice cream sundae with lots of hugs to share, but quite spicy with her red-painted toenails and excitement for the great outdoors!! I had such a blast and I hope her Mom and Dad enjoy these photos of their precious 2-year old!

Happy 4th of July (a little late)!!

Children's Photographer in Northern Virginia

Yesterday was one of those wonderful days for me as a photographer. I was able to spend time with not one, but two amazing families that have precious little ones. What more could I ask for?

My morning started off with my little buddy Wyatt for his 3 month pictures. I don't know about anyone else, but I can't believe he's already 3 months old! He is such a good boy, so happy to be in this world. These pictures are pretty appropriate for today's 4th of July holiday!! The photos were taken in Wyatt's nursery.

Next, I headed to Ella's house. Ella was just born last Saturday, so she was only 6 days old for her first photo session! She handled it like a champ and looked absolutely adorable doing it. :-)

To Jodi and Jonathan & Christine and Bryan -- thank you so very much for letting me capture these little moments of blessing in your lives.

Northern Virginia Maternity Photographer

I was able to spend a few hours with Brian and Christine yesterday afternoon while we did their maternity session. I love these two, they are so much fun! And so artistic -- the nursery that they have designed for their soon-to-arrive baby girl is ADORABLE with a great beach theme. Brian and Christine, thanks for letting me be a part of such an exciting time in your lives. I can't wait to meet your new little princess!

Photographer in Northern Virginia - Engagement and Wedding Photos

Please don't tell Bailey and Kelsee, but they have some rivals in my "favorite models" category. Chad and Tasha are here for 2 months this summer, so we have a few different photo sessions in mind -- one of which we did yesterday. For this session, we did an edgy style that I think turned out fantastic.

So this one falls more into the "cute" category, but Chad was kissing little Peanut and I couldn't help but include it! :-)

This is probably my favorite shot of all...
