Personal: Tour de Cali 2011 (Monterey)

Today is the final day of vacation photos...these from our time in Monterey. I love, love, love the Monterey and Carmel area so much. If you ever see my face on the national news for winning the lottery and then wonder where I can be found, it's a pretty safe bet that we've purchased a second home here right on the water. Or maybe in Bora Bora, hmmm, well who knows where we'll be, but there will be beautiful turquoise blue water nearby, that much is for certain. :)

Day 4 of vacation photos are from our time in San Francisco. I have the least number of photos from here because it rained so much that I didn't want to take my camera out...I'm a tad protective of that piece of equipment. :) San Francisco is such a gorgeous city...I love the water, the hills, and the colorful homes and buildings, not to mention iconic sites such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street and Alcatraz...

Personal: Tour de Cali 2011 (Sequoia National Park)

Day 3 of our vacation photos are from our day at Sequoia National Park. When we went to Yosemite the day before, I was in complete awe of the size of the trees in the sequoia grove, so I expected to see more of the same at Sequoia. Boy was I wrong. The monster trees at Sequoia National Park were HUGE in comparison. Again, I just don't feel like the pictures do it justice. There is just no way to capture how big they actually are.

Here is my attempt to show you their massive size. The "smaller" trees around this sequoia are actually huge trees, but they are dwarfed by their huge sequoia neighbor!

Will and I are sort of blocked by my logo in this image, but you see how tiny we are...and this is one of the smallest sequoia trees!

Personal: Tour de Cali 2011 (Yosemite National Park)

Day 2 of our vacation photos are by far, without a doubt, my favorite! Yosemite National Park has now made it onto my list of top 5 most beautiful places I've ever been -- in fact, it probably ranks as number 1 or 2. We were so fortunate to go this year and at this specific time. Because of the massive amounts of snowfall and runoff, the waterfalls were at record sizes...unbelievably gorgeous! So anyway, enough chat from me, here are the pictures!...

So I thought I'd share some of my favorite photos from our vacation to California. We had such an amazing time and it's such a gorgeous part of our great country! Today's photos are from our time in Napa Valley. I won't lie, I was a little disappointed in the images...mainly because I just don't feel like a photo can do justice to the beauty that is around you 360 degrees. With that said, here you have it...Napa Valley through the lense of my camera...
