Merry Christmas!!!!!

We had such a fantastic Christmas and were spoiled rotten!! Bailey and Kelsee received Christmas toys, chew bones, and even Christmas cookies.... (I found it quite fitting that Kelsee felt the need to bite into her "Naughty" cookie while I was taking the picture!!!)

Inquisitively listening to the story of the real meaning of Christmas. (Or waiting for the cookie her Dad has in his hands....)

All the loot!

The "After" picture. After they've had more stimulation than they can handle...

And the "After" picture of me. Now, don't judge!! I've opened presents with bedhead and in my p.j.'s since I was a little girl and I don't intend to change that tradition!! :-)

Merry Christmas to you all!!!!!!

Winter Wonderland!!

Holy cow, did it snow!!!! We got probably 18 inches or so over Friday and Saturday and it's absolutely beautiful. I took my camera outside and after about 30 seconds decided having my good camera (that is the source of my income and part of my daily life) out in the wet snow probably wasn't the brightest idea I'd ever had. I went inside and exchanged it for my point-and-shoot camera. The girls love it, although Bailey can only last so long before she's shivering and too cold to stay out (even with her coat on)!!

The center one makes me laugh. You can't really tell, but he's the lighted snowman that sits at our front door. He pretty much just looks like glowing snow at night time now.

Only 4 more days until Christmas!!!!!! :-)

Hercules, Hercules!!

Boy oh boy. We will probably always lovingly call Kelsee our Moose because she's our big girl, but she's like a chihuahua compared to the big boy I met yesterday!!! This is Hercules and his Mama, K. Hercules is a 150 pound Newfoundland. Don't let that size fool you, though, he's a big teddy bear with such a great temperament! Here are a few of my favorites....

Thanks, K, it was a pleasure to meet you and Hercules! :-)

The Little Porcelain Doll

On Saturday I met little "A" and her family at their beautiful home. "A" was so precious! Check out the cuteness just oozing out of this one....

I love all three of these pictures, but the one in the middle is just too sweet -- she looks like a little porcelain doll.

"S" family, thank you so much for having me into your home! I certainly hope you like your sneak peak of your pictures!!

More Little Ones to Ooooo and Aaaaa Over!

Oh my goodness, I got to meet THE sweetest family today!!! We took pictures of the two kids, plus some of them with their Grandma. Little I is almost 2 and was one of the funniest little girls I've ever met. She had us cracking up!! One time she wanted to sing Happy Birthday and then found some (unlit) candles in my office to pretend she was blowing out. Hilarious. Her little brother was about as chill as they come. He handled the photo shoot like a real pro. ;-)

Isn't he the coolest kid ever? I can tell already that he'll WOW the ladies one day real soon!

And how about this one? Doesn't she look like she belongs in a GAP Kids catalog? Too cute and SOO much personality!

I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again.....I have the best job EVER!! :-)

Dreaming of a white Christmas...

We had snow this past weekend....and it was wonderful! The girls got to frolic in the snow, which they LOVE, and we learned that they have an affinity for catching snow balls in their mouths!

I love this one...look closely at Bailey -- the snow ball is splattering all over her face and her eyes are squeezed shut so tight. Pretty impressive that she can catch a snow ball with her eyes closed!

The snow put all of us in the Christmas spirit. Will and I went out and chopped down (a.k.a. purchased from a very nice local greenhouse) the Kyler family Christmas tree. We brought it home and worked tirelessly to make it sparkle and shine. Bailey and Kelsee, well, apparently they were just there for moral support.

My new white backdrop arrived at the house today, so I assembled it and Bailey decided to take a seat center stage. She's such a good helper.

And yesterday, as I prepped the house for a pet photo shoot, Bailey (yet again) placed herself right in the middle of my backdrop. I think maybe she's a little vain and likes to have her picture taken. What have we raised?

Clearly this new house has a bat problem. The dogs have apparently adjusted just fine to their new flying friends. ;-) (I just thought this was a cute picture and had to share it.)

Hope your Christmas preparations are coming along and you're as excited about it as I am!! I can't wait for Christmas morning here at home and then off to Dallas to meet my new niece, Lola, who should be coming into this world very soon!!!!!! Yippee!!!!

Dresses and pj's -- a girl's favorite things!

I had such a blast meeting Ms. J and her mom yesterday! They invited me into their beautiful home to get pictures of this 5 year old beauty. She started off in this gorgeous dress (a girl's first love) and was workin' it for the camera... :-)

...and then she switched into sleepover mode in her pj's (a girl's second love....or are they the first? sometimes hard to decide!!). I love these photos, so fun!! Makes me want to get my girl friends together and have a sleepover and jump on the bed!

Thanks N family! I so enjoyed meeting you!! :-)
